Brocade, a San Jose–based networking company founded in 1995 with 4,550 employees in 36 countries and more than $2 billion in annual revenue, faced an unsustainable manual process for keeping staff compliant with its Code of Conduct and sales policies. Thousands of employees needed annual COC renewals and many required quarterly sales certifications, creating heavy administrative burden and risk of noncompliance.
Working with Skillsoft, Brocade implemented two standard certifications (a sales certification and a new‑hire COC), localized key courses into Chinese and Korean, and integrated the Academy LMS with Brocade’s HR system to automate course assignments and reporting. The solution streamlined renewals for thousands of employees, improved accessibility for international staff, and gave compliance leaders confidence that certification administration would be executed reliably.
