Bluebird Care is a franchised UK and Republic of Ireland homecare provider with around 200 offices delivering 20,000 customer visits each day. To maintain consistent quality across its network and support succession planning, the organisation needed a way to ensure all staff—despite varied shift patterns and locations—received the same level of role-specific training and best-practice guidance.

Working with Skillsoft, Bluebird Care implemented a blended learning programme combining role-focused eLearning with classroom training and on-the-job mentoring. The scalable, flexible platform suited staff schedules and reduced disruption to the working day; 4,000 learners across 61 offices participated, achieving a 72% course completion rate, improved compliance, faster onboarding of new starters and predictable training costs through fixed platform pricing.
