Bayer, a global life-sciences company, needed to modernize and scale its learning culture by replacing more than 80 disparate systems with a single, cloud-based global LMS serving employees in 241 locations. The goal was to remove barriers to self-directed learning and provide consistent access to diverse, multilingual content across roles and geographies.

After evaluating 10 providers, Bayer selected Skillsoft for its breadth, quality and strong cloud/security ratings; Skillsoft’s fast implementation and seamless integration with SAP SuccessFactors allowed Bayer to populate its My Learning portal with over 7,000 assets in 29 languages, including digital transformation and leadership programs. The rollout delivered a 57% user return rate, widespread positive feedback and recognition with eLearning Journal’s Best eLearning Strategy award in 2019.
