A Skillsoft Case Study
The American Red Cross, which relies on donors, volunteers and employees to deliver emergency and humanitarian services, faced inconsistent workplace harassment training that had previously been provided only in certain states and delivered locally. In 2017 the organization made harassment training an annual priority and moved to standardize content and quality across its nationwide network.
To do this the Red Cross adopted Skillsoft’s Compliance and Diversity & Inclusion content as part of a Workplace Respect and Safety initiative, using interactive, scenario-based training and a joint compliance roadmap with Skillsoft. The program provides uniform and state-specific courses to over 60,000 employees and volunteers, has achieved 92.3% participation and received very positive employee feedback.
