Buildertrend, a leading construction project management software company, needed to move off high-touch Zoom training and a “less than ideal” certification platform to scale customer education as the business grew. They selected Skilljar to power the Buildertrend Learning Academy, enabling on-demand external training and an internal training domain to better onboard customers and employees.

Using Skilljar, Buildertrend launched implementation courses, desired‑outcome learning paths, role‑based certifications and a course catalog; by July 2022 they logged over 9,000 course registrations (+90% Jan–July 2022), a 58% completion rate (+70%), 2,562 monthly average users (+20%) and an average session length of 1 hour 48 minutes. Skilljar’s platform freed up CSM time, allowed Buildertrend to add two content strategists, accelerate product adoption and scale both external and internal education.
