Marketing Platform Scales Education Program with On-Demand, Interactive Content

Opal, a collaboration platform for modern marketing teams, faced a steep learning curve as customers relied on phone and onsite trainings while Customer Success manually tracked progress. To scale and standardize education across a global user base, Opal partnered with Skilljar and used Skilljar’s learning platform to deliver on-demand, interactive courses.

Working with Skilljar, Opal launched the Opal Learning Center for customers and Opal University for employees, adding hands-on, sandboxed exercises, videos, gifs and tracking to make self-service training practical and measurable. The program has driven more than 11,400 course registrations, 2,000+ actively engaged students and 3,000+ hours of session time, reduced reliance on 1:1 instructor-led training, and improved user confidence and product adoption — enabled by Skilljar’s platform and reporting.
