MITS, a Seattle‑based business intelligence software company for manufacturers and distributors, faced rapid growth and needed a scalable, on‑demand way to onboard dozens of new clients each week. Scheduled webinars and on‑site instructors weren’t keeping up, and MITS required a private, easy‑to‑manage training portal with data integrations—so they selected Skilljar’s platform to deliver on‑demand training.

Using Skilljar, MITS launched a private portal (learning.mits.com) in July 2014 with seven online courses, client access codes, embedded links from their application, and PDF guides hosted on their FTP. Trainers used Skilljar’s authoring tools (no developers needed) and pushed registration and opt‑in data to Salesforce. The result: hundreds of trainees in the first two months and continued onboarding of dozens more each week, streamlined onboarding without increasing training resources, and improved insights from Skilljar’s engagement analytics.
