DataRobot Switches LMS Providers and Finds Better Customer Success, Integrations, and More

DataRobot, an enterprise AI software company, needed a more capable external education platform after finding its previous LMS solutions insufficient for customer training and for connecting training data to product usage and customer success. To meet these goals, DataRobot selected Skilljar to replace their legacy system and support a growing customer education program.

Skilljar implemented DataRobot University as the company’s education hub, launching a soft rollout in about eight weeks and adding functionality over time. With Skilljar, DataRobot trained over 7,000 users in 10 months, pivoted from primarily live to scalable self‑paced learning (eight of their top 10 courses are now self‑paced), created an updatable course catalog, integrated with certification, CRM, and analytics tools, reduced internal operations and engineering intervention, and established a regular content release cadence.
