SKIDATA partnered with WIPARK Garages, a leading Austrian parking garage operator, to address the challenge of upgrading four of their Viennese facilities with a modern, cutting-edge parking management system. The project required a complete solution that could handle advanced payment options and integrate with public transport, all to be delivered on a tight schedule.

The solution implemented by SKIDATA was a comprehensive parking system featuring QR barcode readers for pre-booked parking and various payment solutions, including integration with the Vienna mobility card. SKIDATA also provided the entire infrastructure, network technology, and a long-term service agreement guaranteeing automatic software updates for 10 to 15 years, ensuring the system remains state-of-the-art for managing 1,500 parking spaces.
