SKIDATA partnered with B-Parking, a subsidiary of NMBS Holding, to address the challenge of remotely managing 89 park and ride sites with over 23,000 parking spaces across Belgium. The goal was to provide a seamless service that combined private and public transport while needing to reserve spaces for rail customers and offer specialized rates.

The solution implemented by SKIDATA was a fully cashless, remote access management system. It integrated a mobility pass for both parking and public transit use and enabled centralized monitoring from three call centers. This SKIDATA system allowed for immediate remote incident detection and service, which dramatically reduced the need for on-site staff. As a result, B-Parking can now manage all 89 car parks with only six people, significantly minimizing human intervention and operational risk.
