A Unique Vehicle Configurator Tool for Nautique’s Consumers and Dealers

Red Rocket Studios, an Orlando-based agency, faced a challenge while working with Nautique Boat Company. Previous versions of their boat configurator used hundreds of stacked 2D images per model, which was tedious to maintain and update. This system did not provide an optimal experience for consumers to customize and visualize their dream boat.

To solve this, Red Rocket Studios used Sketchfab's Viewer API to develop a new web-based 3D configurator. This allowed Nautique to manage a single 3D asset per model, dramatically improving agility. For consumers, it created an immersive tool to design and share their boats, which also served as a powerful lead generation funnel that connected potential buyers directly with Nautique's dealer network.
