Skedulo helps healthcare giant position themselves to meet increasing demand for home care

HealthStrong, one of Australia’s largest healthcare providers, needed a faster and more reliable way to schedule more than 300 mobile practitioners as demand for home care grew. Its existing process relied on Microsoft Access and spreadsheets, making it difficult and time-consuming to match the right practitioner to each job based on skills, language, and other qualifications. Skedulo helped HealthStrong address this challenge with its mobile workforce scheduling platform integrated with Salesforce.

Using Skedulo’s web and field worker mobile apps, HealthStrong centralized scheduling, automated client and appointment communications, and gave practitioners easier access to job details and tracking in the field. The results were significant: appointment scheduling time was cut in half, workforce efficiency doubled, and a four-person team now manages more than 1,200 appointments per week, up 30% from before. Skedulo also improved transparency, reduced revenue leakage, and helped HealthStrong improve staff retention and deliver better patient care.
