A Skedda Case Study
Toronto Metropolitan University, one of Canada’s top universities, opened the Student Learning Centre in 2015 and later needed a way to manage shared desks safely as the Covid-19 pandemic began. The university wanted students to be able to reserve dedicated study space while maintaining order in a busy facility used by thousands each day.
Skedda provided a streamlined booking platform for the Student Learning Centre’s shared desks, including custom interactive maps, Single Sign On, space availability rules based on student user types, and custom terms and conditions tied to safety measures. Toronto Metropolitan University said Skedda gave students an intuitive map-based reservation system across multiple floors and helped the university keep fair access to spaces and accurate records of who entered the building.
