The University of East London uses Skedda to Connect Students and Faculty through Hot Desking

The University of East London, through its Royal Docks School of Business and Law, needed a better way to manage hot desking after moving into a new building with more faculty than office space. The school also needed a simple system that would help students find tutors, reduce admin work, and support different user types across campus.

Skedda provided meeting room scheduling for pre-scheduled 1:1s, office hours, and quiet workspaces, along with tablet support, map view, SSO, calendar sync, check-in functionality, and user tags. The university said the system was easy to use and helped staff avoid manual booking work, reduce ghost bookings, and make shared spaces easier to find and use. University of East London also expanded Skedda to other departments, including event spaces at Stratford Youth Zone and the Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability.
