University of Kansas School of Pharmacy - Customer Case Study

The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy partnered with SKC Communications as it planned a new 110,000-square-foot building that needed advanced audio/visual, distance learning, digital signage, and room management technology. The school wanted a state-of-the-art solution that would support communication, enhance learning, and attract prospective students across its lecture auditoriums, classrooms, conference rooms, labs, and network operations center.

SKC Communications designed and integrated a standardized technology environment using systems such as Polycom videoconferencing, AMX control and scheduling tools, Biamp audio, Mitsubishi displays and projectors, Da-Lite screens, and Shure microphones. By involving SKC early in the design phase, the university completed the project on time and avoided additional labor costs, while the new Network Operations Center enabled technicians to monitor and support rooms remotely, reducing disruptions and helping resolve issues before they affected classes or meetings.
