SKC Communications worked with the University of Kansas Medical Center on its Health Education Building, a modern learning center for the Schools of Medicine. The university needed advanced technology for flexible classrooms, simulation spaces, and training environments, and the project scope expanded during design and installation while keeping the original timeline on track.

SKC Communications designed and built a comprehensive AV and collaboration technology solution, including local and wireless presentation, audio and video conferencing, wireless microphone systems, SIM capture, custom nurse call and capture, AV capture, fusion monitoring, and digital signage. The result was one of SKC Communications’ largest projects to date: the building was completed under budget and ahead of schedule, with two 225-seat learning studios, multiple classrooms, 17 mock exam rooms, six simulation labs, a mock home environment, and more than 40 study rooms.
