Texas Woman’s University, with campuses in Denton, Dallas, and Houston, needed a scalable way to support growing videoconferencing and distance learning demands across its expanding academic network. To meet that challenge, SKC Communications helped TWU build a more robust video collaboration environment using Cisco TelePresence technology, including the MCU 420, Video Communication Server Expressway, and IP VCR 2200.

SKC Communications implemented a high-touch Systems Operation Center with wall-mounted monitors, AMX touch-panel controls, and centralized monitoring to support live classes and video calls. The result was improved in-call troubleshooting, fewer interruptions, and a streamlined experience for students and faculty; TWU found the work so effective that SKC became its sole provider for videoconferencing equipment and future HD upgrades.
