Sullivan University, Kentucky’s largest private university, needed to update its 150-person auditorium-style classroom for distance learning and campus-to-campus meetings. The university selected SKC Communications over lower bids because of its expertise and past positive experiences, and the project centered on modernizing video, audio, and room controls with Polycom HDX 8000 conferencing equipment, cameras, microphones, and Crestron control systems.

SKC Communications designed and installed a fully integrated solution with high-definition video, zoned audio, ceiling microphones, JBL speakers, and centralized one-touch control through a Crestron touch panel. The new system delivered clearer video and more natural two-way communication with remote sites, and the project was completed over summer break and ready before fall semester, giving Sullivan University predictable costs and strong post-installation support from SKC Communications.
