Case Study: KidsTLC expands care and communication with SKC Communications

KidsTLC, a nonprofit serving families in the Kansas City metro area since 1972, wanted to expand the services it could offer as it grew. The organization needed a way to reach patients in small towns who couldn’t travel to campus, add internal videoconferencing capabilities, and improve how it shared events and updates with its community. SKC Communications helped address these communication challenges with technology solutions.

SKC Communications implemented a videoconferencing system and digital signage for KidsTLC. The new setup allowed patients in remote areas to be viewed, diagnosed, and treated, while also improving internal communication and staff training. According to KidsTLC, the changes helped them assist twice as many people as before and better support training, community groups, and autism-related services.
