Global Manufacturing Company worked with SKC Communications to address a fragmented voice environment spread across multiple locations. The company was using several different voice systems to communicate with clients and other manufacturing sites, which made communication inconsistent and complicated for both corporate and end users. This also created multiple administration points and separate maintenance bills, adding unnecessary overhead. SKC Communications helped the customer evaluate an approach using Avaya Communication Manager, Avaya Modular Messaging, Avaya One-X Speech, and Avaya One-X Mobile.
SKC Communications consolidated the customer’s North American voice systems into a single Avaya Communication Manager platform with one Avaya Modular Messaging system for voicemail, while also deploying One-X Speech at headquarters and supporting disaster recovery needs. The new setup enabled extension dialing across all corporate users in North America, simplified administration with a single point of support, and consolidated maintenance into one monthly bill. As a result, six U.S. locations and three Canadian locations are now connected through one Avaya voice system, giving users a more feature-rich and productive communications environment.
