Gannon University, working on the new Erie Technology Incubator in Erie, Pennsylvania, needed a cost-effective A/V solution for a multipurpose room that could support flexible use across one, two, or three spaces. SKC Communications was brought in to help deliver a system using products such as Polycom HDX 9004 videoconferencing units, an AMX wireless control panel, Mitsubishi LCD projector, LG HDTVs, Shure microphones, Biamp audio conferencing, and Lutron lighting.

SKC Communications designed and installed a high-quality, scalable A/V setup with a video matrix switch, enabling the room to operate as a single large venue or separate breakout rooms. The solution gave Gannon University easy one-touch control and supported presentations, meetings, training sessions, and videoconferencing, while shortening the design and installation process by two to three months and helping keep costs down through the E&I contract.
