Carnival Australia, through P&O Cruises Australia, needed a way to make its retargeting more personalized and relevant during the busy cruise sales season. Although it already had a strong retargeting strategy, the team wanted to better match messages to previous website behavior and keep cruise information current for each audience segment.
Sizmek implemented Sizmek Dynamic Creative, using individualized ads, a visual workflow tool, XML real-time data feeds, and Sizmek Tag Manager to build and track distinct retargeting pools. The result was a 60% year-over-year increase in click-through rate, rising from 0.05% in 2015 to 0.08% in 2016, helping drive stronger ad performance and more return visits to the P&O Cruises website.
