Masterfoods wanted a fresh way to engage consumers around the Revels Eviction campaign and let them directly influence product development, while also better understanding how TV, press, display and search worked together. Working with Sizmek and MediaCom, the brand used rich media display ads and a microsite to encourage votes on which Revels flavour should be evicted, with Sizmek’s Channel Connect for Search and Analytics helping track performance across channels.

Sizmek’s solution connected ad activity to vote conversions and gave MediaCom clearer visibility into the customer journey, from display interaction to search and final vote. The results were strong: 30% of votes attributable to search were driven by rich media display ads, 95% of combined display/search vote paths started with display and ended with search, and the campaign generated 2,000+ Facebook wall posts, while also enabling faster reporting and budget optimisation.
