HTC, a global smartphone and tablet manufacturer, needed to build brand awareness in Turkey for the M9 smartphone, its first major campaign in that market. Working with Sizmek and OmnicomMediaGroup, HTC used Sizmek’s targeting and social strategy to quickly understand a new audience while keeping costs low.
Sizmek launched a broad, multichannel awareness campaign, then optimized bids and retargeting based on performance data, removing low-performing segments and focusing on high-value contextual placements. The campaign delivered nearly 94 million impressions and achieved a 0.21% CTR, twice the industry standard; mobile CTR reached 0.71% and social generated 0.41% CTR with a 95% engagement rate.
