Yave launches MVP in 6 weeks with Sixzero

Yave, a company supporting independent shops with a brand recognition and buying experience app, faced the challenge of designing their MVP under tight constraints of time, budget, and the new collaboration hurdles presented by COVID-19 restrictions. They partnered with the vendor Sixzero for UX research and design to help turn their initial concept into a successful product that was intuitive for end-users.

Sixzero implemented a solution focused on rigorous user research, which led to a pivotal change in the app's core payment flow. By challenging initial assumptions and collaboratively redesigning the QR code feature to be customer-facing, Sixzero created an intuitive wireframe that used familiar patterns. This successful MVP, developed within six weeks, became an integral part of Yave's patent application. Sixzero's work helped Yave soft-launch a beta that quickly gained over 300 customers at their test lab location.
