World Science Foundation keeps its site snappy despite traffic increases with Six Feet Up

Six Feet Up collaborated with the World Science Foundation to develop a new website for the inaugural World Science Festival. The challenge was to create a dynamic site capable of managing detailed information for nearly 100 participants and numerous events, requiring a flexible content management system and a sophisticated navigation structure.

Six Feet Up developed the site using the Plone 3 open source Content Management System. They implemented a clever mechanism for managing participant profiles and customized the navigation for greater flexibility. The site was deployed on a robust server cluster, which ensured it remained fast and responsive even during significant traffic increases, successfully supporting the festival's online presence.
