University of Virginia Darden School of Business builds a 35-behavior courage survey app with Six Feet Up

The University of Virginia Darden School of Business needed to create a secure and customizable online research tool to study courage in the workplace. Their challenge was to build a complex survey platform that could collect detailed user data, present comparative results with charts, and provide robust administrative controls. They partnered with Six Feet Up to develop this application using the Django/Wagtail framework.

Six Feet Up implemented a Django-based application that met all the research requirements, including custom survey creation, data collection with sliders and attitude scales, and the dynamic generation of comparative histograms for users. The solution, hosted and supported by Six Feet Up, resulted in the creation of the WCAI—a free, secure and informative tool that provides valuable insights into organizational courage, enabling users to see how their answers compare to other respondents.
