ReTrans launches Plone website in 3 weeks with Six Feet Up

ReTrans, a Kuehne + Nagel Company, was using a static HTML website which made content management difficult. Their challenge was to relaunch their public site using an open source CMS, and because they had standardized on Python, they chose the Plone platform. They contacted vendor Six Feet Up for assistance with this implementation.

Six Feet Up converted the static HTML theme into a responsive Plone theme using Diazo, allowing the site to display optimally on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. They also implemented a dynamic slideshow and a contact form using Plone add-ons. The project was completed with a three-week turnaround, and the new site was successfully deployed. The vendor notes that the transition was so seamless that uninvolved ReTrans team members did not even notice the platform change.
