Oxfam GB turns KARL into a mission-critical intranet with Six Feet Up

Oxfam GB was waiting for a Microsoft SharePoint-based intranet to be set up and needed a short-term, lightweight collaboration solution. They chose to deploy the open source Knowledge Management System KARL and selected Six Feet Up as their hosting partner.

Six Feet Up implemented KARL, which saw adoption rates exceed expectations and become a mission-critical tool. As a result, Oxfam GB abandoned its SharePoint plan. Six Feet Up provided ongoing support through a formal agreement, performing releases, updates and assisting the Oxfam Service Desk.
