The customer, a national biomedical diagnostic systems provider, sought help from Six Feet Up to add a new feature to their hardware and software systems. Their challenge was to offer researchers more flexibility for data visualization and analysis, moving beyond the limitations of Microsoft Excel and enabling real-time scriptable data analysis without requiring advanced programming skills from their users.

Six Feet Up implemented a solution by constructing several Jupyter Notebooks and developing a new API from scratch to interact with the client's laboratory systems. The notebooks utilized Pandas DataFrame for data analysis and the Altair library for intuitive visualizations. This empowered researchers to easily analyze and visualize data with simple commands.
