Hightower Services manages $80m+ in investment contracts with Six Feet Up

Six Feet Up was engaged by Hightower Services to overcome the challenge of managing its MasterChoice Investment Trust Fund, a complex system for prepaid funeral contracts. The existing technology lacked transparency, required extensive manual input, and introduced errors into the financial tracking system. Hightower Services needed a secure and accurate web application built with Django to automate processes, ensure PCI compliance, and migrate data from an outdated database.

Six Feet Up architected, developed and deployed a Django application named MyMasterChoice that automated fund valuation ingestion, transaction reporting and reconciliation processes. The solution ensured data accuracy to four decimal places and provided the required security. The results for Hightower Services include the successful management of over 12,000 active contracts, with the application paying for itself through new contracts and time saved. The vendor also received requests from other associations to license the application.
