Central New Mexico Community College achieves continuous uptime with Six Feet Up on AWS

Central New Mexico Community College engaged Six Feet Up to implement a distance learning platform using Plone. The college was interested in exploring a serverless architecture on AWS as a proof of concept for a potential broader shift of their infrastructure to the cloud.

Six Feet Up collaborated with the college's developers to build the solution using native AWS services, including RDS, EFS, and CloudFront, and managed the infrastructure with Terraform. The resulting platform is resilient, scalable and has delivered reliable performance with continuous uptime since its launch, often outperforming traditional architectures. This successful project served as a validation of the cloud-based approach for the customer.
