Åkersberga Växtförsäljning, a Swedish garden center with a gift department, restaurant, and café, needed a modern point-of-sale system to replace paper-based processes and support staff with richer product information and real-time inventory data. They also wanted to better connect their physical stores with e-commerce in a cost-effective way, and to simplify operations across a growing business. Sitoo provided the cloud-based POS foundation for that digital transformation.

With Sitoo’s mobile POS and open REST API, Åkersberga Växtförsäljning built a more flexible retail setup, expanded from three to eight points of sale, and launched a contactless Click & Collect drive-through flow integrated with Swish payments and digital receipts. The results included greater staff mobility, better customer service, and a 50% sales increase in April 2020 compared with April 2019. Sitoo also enabled faster onboarding of new devices and scalable access for seasonal staff, helping the retailer operate more efficiently.
