The challenge was timing promotions: advertising parking too close to departure wasted opportunities, while earlier in the customer journey visitors were more likely to convert.
Using SiteSpect, Schiphol segmented visitors by departure time and served personalized banners aligned to the customer journey—parking offers in the days before travel and in-airport vouchers or flight info within hours of departure. The targeted approach lifted parking conversions by 26.24% and increased clicks on shopping vouchers by 57.95%.
