Mountain Warehouse, a UK-based outdoor brand, wanted to improve how it displayed sale prices and discounts on its ecommerce site. Using SiteSpect, it moved beyond its previous tag-based testing tool, which had issues with multivariate testing, SPA consistency, and flicker, and began testing the best way to present savings and reduced prices.
SiteSpect helped Mountain Warehouse run a 24-variation multivariate test across pricing elements, including savings format, wording, sizing, and animation. The winning variations delivered measurable gains, with one approach increasing Adds to Cart by 2.95% and Purchases by 4.16% across all devices; on tablet and desktop, uplift reached nearly 9.58% for Adds to Cart and 8.78% for Purchases.
