The digital merchandising team used SiteSpect to A/B test recommendation placements and algorithms across key pages like the home page, category pages, cart, and product detail pages.
Using SiteSpect, Sun & Ski Sports first benchmarked its current provider side by side with SiteSpect recommendations, then tested two SiteSpect variations during Black Friday and Cyber Week traffic. The Product Detail Page generated 59% of all recommendation clicks, helping SiteSpect and Sun & Ski Sports identify the most effective placement and refine their recommendation strategy.
