Comoto (parent of Cycle Gear and Revzilla) is a leading motorsports ecommerce retailer with about 5 million monthly visitors. They found many organic visitors landing on product detail pages were still early in the shopping journey and frequently bounced back to search results instead of comparing on-site, limiting engagement and conversions.

To keep new visitors exploring within the site, Cycle Gear tested adding a product tray above the main image that surfaces other items in the same category for all new users. The change drove a 6.21% lift in conversions, a 0.99% increase in revenue, and a 0.31% reduction in bounce rate.
