AirportParkingReservations.com, a one-stop site for airport parking serving 85+ airports and millions of bookings, relaunched its site but found several pages that previously converted well were seeing lower conversion rates and higher abandonment. The team needed to diagnose usability and content issues quickly to restore performance.
Using SiteSpect’s non-intrusive multivariate testing, they tested variations in copy, colors, fonts and layout; changing the orange “Reserve” button to a green “Park Here” increased conversions by 5%, and moving the security logo closer to the Buy button added 2.5%, yielding thousands of dollars in additional monthly revenue. The company now runs continuous, airport-specific and mobile-focused tests to keep improving conversion and revenue.
