A Siteimprove Case Study
The University of Wollongong, a higher-education institution, struggled to maintain website credibility while managing a large, distributed contributor base. With about 21,884 pages and over 115,000 links, fragmented user management and rising numbers of broken links made it hard to keep content coherent and risked prospective students being unable to find or enroll in courses.
By adopting Siteimprove’s Web Governance Suite — especially the Complete Inventory and WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility checks — UOW centralized group management, prioritized errors, and used an interface that highlights pages with the most broken links. As a result, broken links are declining, problems are identified and fixed earlier, business owners better understand site impacts, and content publishing across hundreds of contributors has been streamlined.
