A Siteimprove Case Study
Birdville Independent School District, a K–12 district serving families, students and staff, needed a reliable way to keep its public site accurate and up to date. With content coming from teachers, parents and campus staff across more than 20,000 pages and a decentralized team of contributors, the district’s biggest challenges were misspellings, broken links and overall accountability for how the district was represented online.
The district implemented Siteimprove’s Content Suite in September 2015 to centralize quality assurance and reporting, giving web teams visibility into misspellings, broken links and other issues so they can be quickly fixed. The tool saved staff time and improved oversight—resulting in an 83% reduction in misspellings (Sept. 2015–Jan. 2016) and a 48% reduction in broken links—and set the district on a path toward 100% accuracy and expanded use of accessibility and analytics features.
