The Schaumburg Park District, a government recreation agency focused on providing leisure programs and preserving open space, needed to replace a static, outdated website with a content-managed site that could handle dozens of pages and structured content types such as news, an events calendar, a document library, and photo galleries so SPD staff could maintain content themselves.

Links Technology implemented Sitefinity on a virtualized Windows server with Microsoft SQL Server, developed custom modules for Events, Documents and Photos, and added visual accents; SPD staff migrated content and now manage the site independently. The Sitefinity platform’s built-in features and extensible architecture sped the project to completion in about one-third the usual time, improving productivity and delivering a successful, integrated solution.
