ServusXchange, founded in 2005, built MyOnlineToolbox — a B2B2C web platform to help contractors manage scheduling, estimates, invoices, documents and communications with customers, suppliers and subs. The challenge was to rapidly create a dedicated, easy-to-update website and interactive application that works for mobile, on-site users and back-end operations.
The team adopted Telerik’s tools — Sitefinity CMS (v3.7), RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and Telerik Reporting — with a Windows/MS SQL Server stack to deliver features like real-time job updates, on-the-fly image edits, color-coded scheduling and automated document generation. Launched in May 2008, MyOnlineToolbox now serves thousands of contractors with under $1,000 spent on initial marketing and has won awards including Dell Top 10 Innovator (2008) and Forbes America’s Most Promising Company (2009).
