Case Study: Lincoln Interactive achieves freedom to innovate and rapid content authoring with Sitefinity

A Sitefinity Case Study

Preview of the Lincoln Interactive Case Study

Sitefinity frees online learning provider to concentrate on creating innovative educational content

The National Network of Digital Schools, provider of the Lincoln Interactive curriculum used by more than 200 schools and covering 280 accredited courses, needed a more flexible authoring environment to manage a large volume of content (28,000 pages, 2,600 games, 260+ hours of video). Their existing learning management system constrained authors and didn’t match their model of supplying ready-made curriculum, so they sought a platform that would let content teams work faster and more creatively.

By building their authoring system on Sitefinity CMS, Lincoln Interactive gave authors an intuitive drag-and-drop editor, integrated workflows, and more than 50 custom widgets while integrating with existing systems. The eight-person dev team launched the solution in under a year, migrated thousands of users, and has already moved early grades to Sitefinity; authors can now fix content in minutes, the site performs better, and the organization is free to focus on creating more innovative, engaging educational experiences.
