How Sitefinity Solved the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando (FPCO) CMS Issues

First Presbyterian Church of Orlando (FPCO) is a 133‑year‑old, 5,000‑member congregation that launched a Seek. Share. Serve. campaign and a complete website redesign to better engage members and visitors. The church required a robust, customizable ASP.NET CMS that remained easy for editors to use and had features such as an HTML/CSS/Flash implementation with a rotating video banner, improved navigation including a dynamic Ministry Guide in the header, custom forms for visitor itineraries and prayer requests, and an Upcoming Worship display with a countdown.

FPCO’s team selected Roger West Creative & Code to implement the new design within their existing Sitefinity CMS. Roger West duplicated the site to a development server, converted the design into Sitefinity templates, added the Flash rotating banner and header Ministry Guide, and built custom controls and web forms (Seek/Share/Serve dropdown, tab navigation, itinerary generator, prayer form, and Upcoming Worship with countdown). The project was delivered on time, met the expanded scope, and FPCO praised the team’s Sitefinity expertise and responsiveness.
