A Sitefinity Case Study
Kiwanis International, a global non-profit of nearly 600,000 members, needed a modern parent site and multiple microsites that were easy to manage and consistent with its brand. Their existing open-source CMS was unintuitive and required repeated staff training; Kiwanis also required multilingual support, an author/approver workflow, standards-compliant design, and custom features like a club locator, polls and social media modules.
BoxCrush rebuilt Kiwanis.org on Telerik Sitefinity (ASP.NET/SQL Server), templating the design, adding localization, workflow integration and custom modules, and launching the main site in about 60 days with the Worldwide Service Project microsite released even earlier. The result: a user-friendly CMS that reduced training and administration, enabled scheduled approvals, seamless eight-language delivery, easier social media integration, and flexible, brand-consistent microsites that meet Kiwanis’s development requirements.
