Wecycle optimizes supply chain with the myWecycle platform

Wecycle, the Dutch e‑waste organisation operating a network of about 10,000 collection points, needed to simplify a fragmented, highly customized set of systems that caused errors and heavy manual work. To streamline logistics, communication and self‑service across producers, collectors and service providers, Wecycle engaged Sitecore partner Estate to build the myWecycle platform on Sitecore 8.1 (Sitecore Experience Platform) with .NET and single sign‑on.

Using Sitecore technology, Estate delivered a single central environment (myWecycle) with multisite support, impersonate troubleshooting, AFAS financial integration and unified data for all supply‑chain partners. The Sitecore‑based solution produced strong efficiency gains, a significant reduction in manual labour, and increased self‑service that reduced pressure on Wecycle’s operational and call‑centre teams — while enabling clear, real‑time coordination across the entire logistics chain.
