Van Lanschot delivers standout customer experiences with Sitecore’s personalization technology

Van Lanschot, a specialist private bank founded in 1737, needed its website to reflect the firm’s long-standing, highly personalized service by better understanding visitors and delivering tailored content so customers “only have to tell their story once.” To achieve this, Van Lanschot built a new web presence on the Sitecore platform (Sitecore XP 9 with Sitecore SXA) across its Dutch, Belgian and Swiss sites to enable visitor identification and targeted experiences.

Using Sitecore’s personalization and content capabilities, Van Lanschot empowered marketers to self-serve, reduced reliance on external tools to a single add-on, and accelerated delivery with two in-house Sitecore developers and an Agile/DevOps approach. The Sitecore implementation tripled conversions (3X higher engagement), opened broader personalization opportunities, and—after a license review tied to an upgrade to Sitecore 10 on Microsoft Azure—lowered total cost of ownership.
