B-Europe, a travel booking site, needed an easy, guided booking flow that could upsell and cross-sell train-ticket extras, integrate with back-office systems, and support a multi-channel experience including a seamless call-center handoff. They selected Sitecore as the platform (implemented with Sitecore partner Delaware Consulting) to meet those requirements.
Sitecore implemented a multi-channel e-commerce platform that aggregates carriers, uses information-driven guided sales, tightly couples search and booking, and integrates online, call-center and after-sales channels. As a result, B-Europe customers can now book tickets online to more than 1,000 European destinations, the conversion ratio has increased dramatically, cross-sell/upsell (e.g., cancellation insurance) generates additional revenue, and dynamic data management has reduced authoring time.
