TelstraSuper ups investor trust, self-service transactions with Sitecore Experience Platform

TelstraSuper, Australia’s largest corporate retirement fund (AU$20 billion in assets, ~100,000 members), faced an aging, jargon-heavy SuperOnline portal that hindered personalization, made navigation complex, and made updates slow and costly. To modernize its public site and member portal and restore member trust, TelstraSuper chose Sitecore—deploying the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) and Sitecore Experience Database (xDB) via a Deloitte Digital implementation.

Using Sitecore XP and xDB with prebuilt, integrable modules, the implementation enabled personalization, simpler content administration, and faster deployments—cutting time to market from one year to six months. The Sitecore solution drove a 50% jump in website visitors, a 100%–300% increase in self‑service transactions, earned a Website of the Year MAX award, and helped TelstraSuper achieve top Net Promoter Scores, improving both efficiency and member engagement.
