Swire Properties sought to strengthen community engagement and tenant retention at its Taikoo Place mixed‑use campus in Hong Kong by delivering timely, targeted content across web, mobile and interactive kiosks. The company needed to streamline omnichannel content distribution for event promotion, registration and wayfinding while maintaining consistent experiences for more than 30,000 onsite workers — and it turned to Sitecore, using the Sitecore Experience Platform it had deployed since 2010.

Sitecore was upgraded to Sitecore® Experience Platform™ 9.1 on Microsoft Azure PaaS, providing headless APIs, the Experience Editor and security controls, and integrating with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics and social channels to drive automated, targeted campaigns; Tekcent handled mobile re‑platforming and DevOps while Sitecore powered fast, secure mobile delivery. The results: active mobile users rose 87%, more than 35,000 app downloads (≈1,000 new monthly), a kiosk campaign delivered 4,000 downloads in two months, a viral promotion achieved 2,000 upgrades in two hours, and release time for mobile builds fell from one hour to 10 minutes — all enabled by Sitecore.
